Madison Davis fires two-hit shutout, fans 17 to send Lincoln Park Academy by John Carroll

Madison Davis struck out 17, working a two-hit shutout to lead Lincoln Park Academy to a 5-0 victory over John Carroll Catholic on Friday.

Leah Johnson went 2-for-3 with a triple and drove in two runs and Hailey Daniels drove in two runs for the Greyhounds (7-1), who jumped ahead with three first-inning runs to give Davis all the cushion she would need.

Sophia Loreto struck out 10 and allowed three earned runs and picked up one of the two hits in the loss for the Rams (6-8).

Martin County 15, Suncoast 0 (4 innings): Kendal Aldridge went 3-for-3 with two RBI and Emily MacMullen threw a no-hitter, striking out 11 to lift the Tigers (10-3) to victory. Madison Baird had two hits, including a triple and drove in three runs and Brooke Vega also had two hits including a triple and drove in two runs for Martin County.

Sebastian River 14, Vero Beach 4: Maileigh Kincaid went 2-for-4 with a home run and drove in four runs as the Sharks (7-4) scored nine runs in the seventh inning on their way to victory. Malia Binafif had two hits and three RBI, Jaden Seay had two hits, including a double and also drove in three runs and Victoria Wehrberger (four innings, four strikeouts) and Lily Seay (three scoreless innings, three strikeouts) combined in the circle for Sebastian River.

Jensen Beach 7, Fort Pierce Central 3: Annalise Buncy had three hits, including a triple and a 3-run home run to lead the way for the Falcons (6-9). Kyla Knier had two hits including a double for Jensen Beach.

Keianna Angelotti and Kendrya Schremmer each had two hits for Fort Pierce Central.
