Despite winning the GEICO Nationals, Montverde had just one player named first-team, all-state by Source Hoops and the Florida Association of Basketball Coaches.

That was the consensus No. 1 player in the nation, R.J. Barrett. Teammates Michael Devoe, a Georgia Tech signee, and Andrew Nembhard, a Florida signee, made second team. Filip Petrusev, a Gonzaga signee, was named third team.

Tyrell Jones, a junior from West Oaks, made first-team, all-state. Jones dropped 40 points and made 12 threes against Downey Christian back in February. Teammate Tyreike Blakeney made third team.
