Tigers take two against Parsons

The Fort Scott Tiger varsity baseball team (4-1 in the SEK, 8-1 overall) swept the Parson Vikings (0-4, 1-6) in a doubleheader Tuesday at the LaRoche Baseball Complex-Dave Regan Stadium.

Fort Scott’s third baseman Brody Bowles had five RBIs in the Tiger’s 14-4 rout of the Vikings in game one. The Tigers’ Brady Masters and Parsons’ Nolan Proehl took the hill for their respective teams in the first matchup, in which the Vikings used three pitchers. The Tigers took game two later in the night, 6-1.
