CLINTON — River Kindle hit a double and scored three runs as part of a 2-for-4 game for the Buccaneers. He also drove in a pair.

Sam Duncan and Patrick Boynewicz chipped in two-hit days as well.

The Buccaneer pitching staff only allowed one earned run, despite the Dragons scoring seven.

Science Hill 9, Dyer County 5

LEBANON — Landon Smelser had a perfect 2-for-2 day with a pair of runs scored for the Hilltoppers.

Josh Marmo went 1-for-3 with a double and three RBIs, while Jackson Berry and Cole ReSue had multi-hit games.

Hagen Gibson earned the win after allowing two earned runs across five innings pitched.

David Crockett 7, South-Doyle 6

KNOXVILLE — AJ Ford pitched 1⅓ innings of perfect baseball out of the bullpen to earn the win for the Pioneers.

Ford also hit an RBI double in the top of the seventh that gave Crockett the lead for good.

Ayden Mullikin had three hits and a run scored out of the second spot in the order.

Peachtree Ridge (Ga.) 6, Greeneville 3

SUWANEE, Ga. — Carson Quillen went 3-for-4 with a run scored out of the leadoff spot for the Greene Devils.

Maddox Bishop got on base three times and drove in a run.

Carson Norris and Corbin Cannon combined to toss the last two frames without allowing an earned run.

Anderson County 16, Sullivan East 3

CLINTON — Kaden Hicks went 1-for-2 with a double for the Patriots.

DJ Carrier, Jonah Smith, and Chas Carrier scored the three runs for the SEHS offense.

Alex Bond had two hits, including a double, three runs and three RBIs for the Mavericks.
