The Christian County Colonels soccer team, under the guidance of head coach Avery Seeger, played host to the Falcons of Fort Campbell, led by head coach Dan Drier, at the Stadium of Champions Field 2 on Tuesday, Aug. 27. The Colonels ran their record on their season to 6-1 on the strength of a varied offensive attack and stifling defense that produced a fourth consecutive shutout. The Colonels defense kept the Falcons off of the scoreboard and a string of eight consecutive scoreless halves intact.
