A battle of new head coaches took place at McCracken County High School when the Tyler Brooks’ led Mustangs took on Cliff Dew and the Mayfield Cardinals. Mayfield took home the 35-21 victory in a game where both offenses thrived and created big plays.

“This win is tremendous for our program,” Cardinals’ head coach Cliff Dew said. “Anytime we beat a big school like this it’s big. Our end goal is our end goal, and that’s to be playing in December. I was proud to pull this one off tonight.”
