After falling in consecutive games for the first time this season, the Marshall County Lady Marshals regrouped with an 8-2 win over Graves County on Monday night. Head coach Shane Darnall said this win was a perfect way to reignite a spark that this team needed to get back on track following the weekend.
“They played today. I thought that was a great way to get the bats going again. For us to win, we’re going to have to hit the ball. Today we talked about hitters just hitting, whether you’re 0-10 or 10-10, just go up there and hit. I told them we needed to wake up so I had Jaisa (Henson) play some tunes on the bus for us, and that seemed to work out today.”
