Skyline used eight second-quarter goals to build a 10-1 halftime lead en route to a 16-2 win over Ann Arbor Huron in Thursday's Division 1 pre-regional contest at Skyline.
John Crowley led Skyline with five goals, and Zach Schwartz and Dan Lee added three goals apiece.
Freshman Chad Aaronson and sophomore Aaron Rasmussen each scored a goal for Huron.

Pioneer 14, Huron 7

Pioneer took advantage of an 8-3 second-half advantage, as well as a solid performance by Sam Zwolan, to pull away from a 6-4 halftime lead and knock off host Ann Arbor Huron in a Division 1 pre-regional game on Thursday.
Senior captain Zwolan, who averages 5.5 points per game, had five goals and three assists, while Mercedes Reyes added four goals and two assists.
“Zwolan steadies our attack, and she kept us in it in the first half,” Pioneer coach Zachary Maghes said. “It's nice to see her come thru when we need it.”
Caroline Hurd scored two goals and won five faceoffs.
Baseball
Skyline 13, Monroe 6; Monroe 7, Skyline 6

Skyline survived a late rally by Monroe to win Game 1, 13-6 in extra innings. Monroe pulled out a close win in Game 2, defeating Skyline 7-6 to split the baseball doubleheader Thursday.
In the bottom of the seventh inning in Game 1, Monroe hit a two-run homer to send the game into extra innings. Skyline ended the game scoring seven runs in the 10th inning to win.
"It was a thrilling game," Skyline coach Frank Garcia said.
Jack Clark stole three bases on the day for the Eagles. Rick Lewis had three hits and two RBIs. Clark also threw three strikeouts, while Matt Blunk threw five.
Monroe took control early in Game 2, scoring six runs in the first inning. Monroe held off Skyline late to win.
"We battled back, but we couldn't play catch-up after that first inning," Garcia said.
Saline 9, Huron 3; Saline 4, Huron 3

After defeating Huron 9-3 in Game 1 of an SEC Red baseball doubleheader, Saline manufactured a run to break a sixth-inning deadlock and edge the River Rats 4-3 in Game 2 on Thursday.
Tied 3-3 in the bottom of the sixth, Saline (19-7, 11-2 SEC Red) botched a squeeze play that left Thomas Miller caught in a third-baseline rundown until Huron dropped the ball, allowing Miller to score.
Gage Hammond led Saline with six hits, four runs and one RBI, while Michael Hendrickson, Trent Theisen and John Malbone had three hits apiece. Hendrickson had two doubles and earned a pitching win (4-3) with 10 strikeouts and three walks. Eric Berki also earned a win.
“We made some mistakes defensively that led to some Huron runs,” Saline coach Scott Theisen said. Our pitchers didn’t let that affect them, and they kept us in it.” “
Domenic DiGiovine and Joe Cleary combined for six strikeouts and six walks for Huron.
Girls Soccer
Chelsea 4, Lincoln 0

Emma Mathis led Chelsea with a goal and an assist as the Bulldogs beat visiting Ypsilanti Lincoln 4-0 in a girls soccer match Thursday.
Nikki Liedel, Gabi Lantis and Hayley Buntin all added goals as well for Chelsea, and Krista Pagliarini made three saves to earn her third shutout victory of the season.
"We haven't been playing our best lately, but we regrouped today and put in a good effort for each other," Chelsea coach Shawn Hayes said. "I'm proud of how the team played together tonight, and hopefully we can build on this and go into the postseason on a strong note."
