Mitchell's goal came on a header after a corner kick by teammate Daneille Lisovicz appeared to hit underneath the crossbar and then bounce out.
Belvidere ends the season with a 15-5-1 record, having won the Skyland Conference Valley Division title. Last year Belvidere was 16-7-2 and won the North 1, Group 1 championship before being moved to North 2, Group 1 this fall.
