Hummelstown uses combined no-hitter to down Linglestwon in East Shore Twilight: Summer baseball roundup

Zach Stuart and Tyler Alexander combined on a no-hitter as Hummelstown defeated Linglestown 1-0 in eight innings on Monday night in East Shore Twilight League baseball.

Stuart started and pitched the first seven innings for Hummelstown, striking out four batters and walking two. Alexander pitched the eighth and picked up the win.

Colby Vanoy drove in the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Patrick Reagan threw six shutout innings for Linglestown.

WEST SHORE TWILIGHT: Mechanicsburg scored two runs in the first and two more in the second to defeat Shippensburg 4-3. Mike Palkovitz scored a run in each of the early rallies for Mechanicsburg.

LEBANON COUNTY LEGION: Fredericksburg and Annville played to a 10-10 tie, called due to darkness after seven innings.
