Owen Bish dashed in from 7 yards out with just 26 seconds left, handing Union/A-C Valley a dramatic comeback win over Punxsutawney on Friday, 30-27.

The Falcon Knights (5-2, 3-2 District 9, Region 2) got the ball with 2:12 left in the game after the Chucks scored 14 straight to take the lead, and Bish executed a flawless two-minute drill.

“I thought our kids fought really hard against a great team,“ UAC coach Dan Reed said.

Bish accounted for four combined scores in the win: a 5-yard pass to Michael Yerkey in the first quarter, a 6-yard pass to Christian Salizzoni in the second and a 39-yard toss to Aidan Fox to start the second half.

Bish ran 15 times for 91 yards and threw for 180 more yards, and Max Gallagher ran 17 times for 69 stripes.

Seneca Valley 31, Canon-McMillan 30 — The Raiders erased a 17-point, third-quarter deficit to stun the Big Macs (2-5, 1-2 section).

Seneca Valley (2-4, 2-1 section) quarterback Andrew Loebig produced two second-half touchdowns, including a game-winner late in the fourth quarter on a 39-yard strike to receiver Brayden Wise. His first rushing TD, covering 3 yards, began the comeback in the third and cut the deficit to 27-17.

Reese Fatur also returned an interception 15 yards to pay dirt for the Raiders’ second touchdown of the third quarter.

Loebig finished 8 of 15 passing for 86 yards and the TD and ran nine times for 33 yards. Wise finished with two catches for 43 yards.

SV’s run game produced two 100-yard rushers in this one. Chase Mazanek had 22 carries for 120 yards, and Cayden Parker carried the rock 19 times for 116 yards, including a first-quarter score.

Keystone 37, Moniteau 14 — The Warriors fell to 0-7, but Kole Scott rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.

Trent Beachem completed 3 of 7 passes for 70 yards and a touchdown to Isaiah Thompson, who finished with five catches for 65 yards.

Jesse Kohlmeyer had five tackles, one for a loss and a sack for Moniteau.

Central Valley 46, North Catholic 38 — The Trojans dropped their second straight and fell to 2-4.
