Mechanicsburg was led by faces old and new in a dominant season-opening victory over Elizabethtown, defeating the Bears 17-5 on the road on Wednesday in five innings.

The Wildcats jumped out to a 9-1 lead after two innings and never looked back.
Every starter picked up a hit for Mechanicsburg, with freshman shortstop Reaghan Condon leading the charge, going 4-for-5 with two doubles, three RBIs and a steal in the win.
Chelsea Heckert also had a huge afternoon, going 2-for-3 with a homer, a double and three RBIs.
Mackinley Giblin also homered, driving in two runs.
Jada Lacey went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs, while also pitching three innings, allowing one run and three hits while striking out three.
Rilyn Magee also laced two doubles and drove in a run, while Emmie Kuhn went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Asha Pratt also went 2-for-3 with two RBIs,
