The 2025 Athlete of the Year finalists have been chosen

An amazing cast of semifinalists led to an extremely competitive race for this year’s lehighvalleylive.com Athlete of the Year award.

After tabulating the choices of the sports staff and Lehigh Valley fans, six finalists (three boys and three girls) have risen above the rest. Find them listed below.

The Athlete of the Year award, which is in its 13th year, recognizes senior standouts who excel at more than one varsity sport. Student-athletes from schools in lehighvalleylive.com’s coverage area are eligible. That includes schools in Northampton, Lehigh, Monroe and Warren counties, Palmerton, Jim Thorpe and Lehighton in Carbon County, East Stroudsburg North in Pike County, Palisades in Bucks County, and Delaware Valley, North Hunterdon and Voorhees in Hunterdon County.
