The Chester softball team begins postseason play as a number two seed.

The playoffs begin this week for most spring sports and Chester County is well represented throughout the Class A and AA brackets.

The Lewisville baseball team won its region, going undefeated in region play in the process. The Lions opened the playoffs Tuesday night at home against fourth-seeded Thornwell Charter. Ware Shoals and Calhoun County are the other two teams in the district. With a win, Lewisville would play a winners’ bracket at home on Thursday and they would also host a loser’s bracket elimination game Thursday with a loss.
