DEMOREST, Ga. – The Rhodes men's lacrosse team picked up a big road win on Saturday, downing Piedmont College, 17-14.
The Lynx improve to 3-2 on the season while the Lions fall to 1-3 to start the year.
Rhodes had a host of Lynx work their way into the scoring column, with nine different players netting goals.
Ryan Fennelly led the way with four scores, with
Jason Lee nabbing three.
Austin Bridgforth,
MG Jadick, and
Cooper Robinson each found the back of the cage on two different occasions.
Mattison Hamilton,
Matthew Jones,
Peter Baricev and
Tommy Reingruber each found the back of the cage for one goal each.
Thomas Matthews got the start in the cage for the Lynx, playing all 60 minutes. While in goal, the first-year snagged 12 saves in route to his third win of the season.
Rhodes will be back in action on March 7 when they head to Huntingdon College.
