JACKSON, Miss. – The Rhodes men's lacrosse team picked up a decisive Southern Athletic Association win on Friday, downing Millsaps College 19-4.
The Lynx improve to 8-2 on the year and 2-2 in league play while the Majors fall to 2-10 on the season and 0-5 in conference action.
The Rhodes offense put on a clinic with nine different Lynx working their way into the scoring column.
Jason Lee led the way with eight goals.

Tommy Reingruber and
Alessandro Secino each posted two goals a piece with
Mattison Hamilton,
MG Jadick,
Henry Smith,
Cooper Robinson and
Kevin Vieira each working in a goal each.
Rhodes outshot the Majors by a count of 38-30, with 27 Lynx shots on goal. Rhodes snagged 32 ground balls and forced 20 Millsaps turnovers. The Lynx took the faceoff battle by a count of 15-12.
In goal,
Thomas Matthews picked up the start and win in 30 minutes of play for the Lynx, grabbing nine saves.
Blake Roberts was in the cage for the final 30 minutes of play, where he grabbed five saves.
Rhodes will be back in action on April 10 when they host Centre College.
