UT Vols: Pruitt 'proud of our guys' while Fulmer, Guarantano thank fans on Twitter

Jeremy Pruitt congratulated the Tennessee football team on social media following Saturday's 30-24 upset at Auburn.

The first-year coach wrote "Great TEAM win! Proud of our guys." on his Twitter account. 

UT athletic director Phillip Fulmer, who guided the Vols to the 1998 national championship and hired Pruitt in December, used Twitter to thank the players "for the continued fight" and fans "who traveled to support the team." 

And it didn't stop there. Quarterback Jarrett Guarantano, who threw for 328 yards and two touchdowns, tweeted "Incredible love for this state, for this team, and our fans. Tough times never last, but tough people do."

Fifth-year senior Todd Kelly tweeted "Together we are one!"

Marcus Tatum showed support for fellow offensive lineman Drew Richmond by tweeting "The haters will come along eventually."

There was more including tweets from Alontae Taylor, Trey Smith, Jeremy Banks, Shawn Shamburger, Baylen Buchanan, Dominick Wood-Anderson and Dillon Bates.
