Tennessee football schedule 2019: Game times, television announced for first three games

The kickoff times for Tennessee's first three football games of the 2019 season were announced Thursday.

The season opener against Georgia State at Neyland Stadium on Aug. 31 will start at 3:30 p.m. ET and will be televised by ESPNU. 

The Vols move to prime time the following week on Sept. 7 against visiting BYU. Kickoff is 7 p.m. on ESPN. 

The third consecutive home game on Sept. 14 against Chattanooga is slated for a noon kickoff on SEC Network.

Kickoffs and television assignments for Tennessee's remaining nine contests will be announced later, typically two weeks before the scheduled game.
