The Memphis women's soccer program's national profile has been on the rise for some time.

But the ninth-ranked Tigers reached new heights Wednesday. Brooks Monaghan's team found its way on to ESPN's "SportsCenter" top 10 plays of the day after its 1-0 win over East Carolina in Greenville, North Carolina.

Freshman forward Anna Hauer, from outside the box, delivered a rocket shot off her right foot that inched past a diving ECU keeper and found the upper right corner of the goal. The score came with 9:05 left in the first half.

The only play ranked ahead of Hauer's kick was a slick unassisted double play by Houston Astros shortstop Jeremy Peña in Game 4 of the American League Division Series against the Minnesota Twins.

The Tigers (11-1) have won eight straight. They are set to face Charlotte at noon Sunday in North Carolina.
