Following a shutout loss to the six-time defending SoCon regular season champion UNCG on Saturday, the Bucs were unable to produce at the plate again on Sunday - resulting in a pair of losses.

In game one, UNCG blasted three solo home runs on the afternoon. And while UNCG held just a 5-1 after six innings, the Bucs' bats did not come out - going all the way to the fifth inning without a hit. Then in the top of the seventh inning, the Spartans grabbed three insurance runs to put it out of reach.

Cameron Young, Riley Nayadley and Faith Adams were the only one to reach base via a base hit with the lone RBI coming from Adams to avoid a shutout for the Bucs.

In game two, the bats came alive for ETSU with eight hits - but were again unable to push any runs across until the bottom of the sixth inning. At that point, the Bucs were already down 5-0 thanks to a four-run third inning for the Spartans.

ETSU falls to (4-17) and starts off SoCon play at (0-3). The Bucs will now take a small break from conference play and head to Winthrop on Tuesday for a doubleheader, before hosting Tennessee Tech on Wednesday.
