Bucs head to Boone for midweek matchup with the Mountaineers

BOONE, N.C. (WCYB) — ETSU is coming off of a big weekend as they end their road trip in Boone, North Carolina.

After defeating a Big Ten opponent in Purdue over the weekend, the Bucs are now looking to down the Mountaineers as they take on Appalachian State at 6:00 p.m.

The Bucs have been stellar at the plate as of recent, with Cameron Sisneros making homeruns look as easy as singles while Noah Gent has been on an absolute tear, batting .600 over four games last week.

While the runs are coming, the bullpen has also shown up for ETSU, with the freshmen continuing to pull their weight on the mound.

Both teams boast similar records, with App State taking a win over the Bucs in Johnson City earlier this season.

ETSU will look to build off of their momentum from the weekend to help even the score on the road.
