ETSU Commits Head 2017 TSWA All-State Volleyball Team

A pair of local East Tennessee State University bound seniors head the 2017 Tennessee Sports Writers All-State Volleyball Team.
Tennessee High’s Adison Minor and Volunteer’s Alyssa Hatley were both named to the Class AAA team.
Minor paced the Lady Vikings to District 1-AAA and Region 1-AAA titles and a berth in the TSSAA Class AAA State Tournament.
Hatley was the Big 6 Conference Player of the Year and led the Lady Falcons to the Class AAA State Sectional round.
Elizabethton senior libero Mary Beth Biggs was selected to the Class AA team after leading the Lady Cyclones to runner-up finishes in the District 1-AA and Region 1-AA tournaments and a spot in the Class AA sectionals.
District 1-AA and Region 1-AA champion and Class AA State Tournament participant Sullivan South was conspicuously not represented on the team.
