Science Hill Rules Region 1 Swimming Once More, But D-B Narrowing the Gap

KINGSPORT, Tenn. – Science Hill maintained its firm grip on regional swimming supremacy Saturday, sweeping to titles at the Region 1 Swimming & Diving Championships at the Kingsport Aquatic Center.
The Hilltoppers' dominance reached a 13th year as Science Hill has now won 13 straight combined titles, 13 straight girls’ titles and 12 of the last 13 boys’ titles.
However, the gap between the ‘Toppers and runner-up Dobyns-Bennett narrowed considerably this year.
