The USA Today Network - Tennessee has started its Tennessee Super 25 poll. A group of statewide high school sports writers from across the network will vote each week on the top 25 teams in Tennessee.

Here is the teams did in the first week of the season.

1. Oakland (1-0) beat Independence 46-7.

2. Brentwood Academy (1-0) beat Hillsboro 31-6.

3. McCallie (1-0) beat Chattanooga Christian 21-0.

4. Ravenwood (1-0) beat Centennial 35-28.

5. Whitehaven (1-0) beat Fairley 35-0.

6. Blackman (1-0) beat Hendersonville 28-10.

7. Maryville (1-0) beat Knoxville Catholic 31-10.

8. Lausanne (1-0) beat Rosa Fort (Miss.) 47-14.

9. Montgomery Bell Academy (1-0) beat Wooddale 42-8.
