KINGSPORT, Tenn. -- Pre-season volleyball jamborees may not count on the official ledger but last week’s 25-23 set loss to Sullivan South obviously meant something to the Dobyns-Bennett Lady Indians.

In Monday’s season-opener against the Lady Rebels in the Rebel Den, Dobyns-Bennett unleashed a complete team effort in a 25-19, 25-20, 25-19 victory.
