Chester County's Megan Bates named Week 4 female athlete of the week

Chester County's Megan Bates earned the honor as the Week 4 female athlete of the week poll in West Tennessee for Sept. 3-8.

Bates received 41.6 percent of the female athlete of the week vote for a total of 1,300 votes.

Bates had 34 kills and 35 digs as the Eaglettes went 4-1 on the week.

Milan's Audrey Smith was second in the female voting with 1,220 votes (39.1 percent). 3,123 votes were cast in the female athlete poll.
