3 takeaways from Week 10 in Cheatham County football

Cheatham County and Harpeth came out on top this week with victories over Stewart County and Fayetteville, respectively, while Sycamore suffered a 35-14 loss to Camden.

Here are three takeaways from Week 10 of the regular season.

Sycamore loses to Camden

Sycamore is on a four-game losing streak after a 35-14 loss to Camden. Senior quarterback Trevor Gagnon was 9 of 19 passing, throwing for 120 yards. 

Junior running back Tyler Niebel had 63 rushing yards on 13 carries and two touchdowns.

In the last four games, Sycamore has been outscored 128-41.

The War Eagles will end the regular season next week on the road against Harpeth. Last season, Sycamore's defense didn't allow Harpeth to score.

Cheatham County defeats Stewart County

Cheatham County improved to 4-5 after a 27-21 comeback road win over Stewart County. The Cubs trailed 21-0 at halftime and scored two touchdowns in the third quarter and two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.

The Cubs host Fairview next week to conclude the regular season.
