he Fairview High School Yellow Jacket Football Team has four sets of brothers representing on the field this season. This week we are highlighting the Jewell brothers.

Stephen Jewell, 17, and his brother Dillon Jewell, 16, are sharing the football field this season as Fairview High School Yellow Jackets.

Stephen is a senior with 13 years experience in football, including previously playing for the East Hickman Eagles.

This season, he is playing defensive end for the Jackets, proudly wearing #87. And the season is even more special with his brother sharing the field.

“It's always fun to play alongside my brother… we've played together since I was five,” said Stephen, who sees his brother’s speed and hustle at a big attribute. For himself, he believes he brings strength and play-making ability to the Jackets.

Dillon, a junior at Fairview High, plays wide receiver and safety for the Jackets in his #6 jersey. His football career goes back 11 years when he played for the Burns Cowboys in the TriCounty Jr Pro Football League.

He also enjoys playing football alongside his older brother. “It’s fun to brag, and makes you do better.” Their parents see it as another way for their sons to strengthen their brotherly bond.

Along with a love of football, Stephen and Dillon also have a big goal in common - - they both have their eyes set on winning a State Championship.
