Signal Mountain Wins Class A Girls Soccer Title

The Signal Mountain girls soccer team won the Class A state championship on Saturday in Murfreesboro.  They beat Merrol Hyde 1-0. 

Signal Mountain's Kennedy Ethridge scored in the 74th minute.   

It was Signal's second straight Class A state championship appearance.  The Lady Eagles lost to Alcoa 2-0 last  year in the final.  

It is the first ever state soccer championship for Signal Mountain.

They finish the year with a 17-3-1 record.
