Sullivan South Lands Maddie Townsend, Meredith St. Clair on 2018 TSWA Class AA All-State Volleyball Team

The tradition-rich Sullivan South volleyball program added two more all-staters to its long list of accomplishments on Saturday when senior middle blocker Maddie Townsend and senior libero Meredith St. Clair were selected to the 2018 Tennessee Sports Writers Association Division 1 Class AA All-State Volleyball Team.
Townsend was the 2018 Three Rivers Conference Player of the Year, a member of the 2018 District 1-AA All-Tournament Team and was also the 2018 Region 1-AA Tournament Most Valuable Player. Townsend will play collegiately at Emory & Henry next season.
St. Clair was the 2018 Three Rivers Conference Defensive Player of the Year and a member of both the 2018 District 1-AA All-Tournament Team and Region 1-AA All-Tournament Team.
Both were vital part of the Lady Rebels winning a 10th straight conference championship, 8th straight district title, 8th straight region title and 4th straight Class AA State Tournament berth with 5th place overall finish this past season.
