Clarksville High's Isbell captures first athlete of week in Clarksville this season

The voting is done and a brand new winner in a first for the sport graces this week's athlete of the week in Clarksville for Feb. 11-16.

Clarksville High's Christian Isbell captured the honor this week after grabbing 562 votes which was good enough for 51.8 percent of the total votes. He beat out teammate Bradley Williams who had 386 total votes.

Isbell is the first wrestler to capture athlete of the week this school year after he captured the Class AAA state championship in the 132-pound weight division in the TSSAA State Wrestling Championships last weekend.
