Here's a look at the top Nashville-area high school boys basketball teams, as ranked by the USA TODAY Network — Tennessee. 

1. Mt. Juliet (28-2) – The District 9-AAA tournament champions roared into the Region 5-AAA semifinals with a 69-36 rout of Henry County. Last week: No. 1.

2. Brentwood Academy (24-6) – The Eagles seek their fifth straight Division II-AA state championship this week at Lipscomb’s Allen Arena. Last week: No. 2.

3. Franklin (25-6) – The Rebels erupted for 91 points in a win over McGavock in the Region 6-AAA quarterfinals. Last week: No. 3.

4. Oakland (20-5) – Oakland defeated Siegel 63-59 for its first District 7-AAA tournament championship since 2010. Last week: No. 4.

5. Brentwood (24-7) – The District 11-AAA runner-up Bruins pulled away in the second half to beat Cane Ridge 64-44 to advance to the Region 6-AAA semifinals. Last week: No. 5.

6. Hillsboro (22-7) – The Burros can avenge a 15-point loss to Brentwood from December on Tuesday in the Region 6-AAA semifinals. Last week: No. 6.

7. Riverdale (24-7) – The Warriors salvaged third place in District 7-AAA tournament and now travel to Coffee County on Monday for a Region 4-AAA quarterfinal. Last week: No. 7.

8. Webb (27-6) – The Feet return to the Division II-A state semifinals for the second straight year. Last week: No. 8.

9. CPA (25-10) – The Lions, who have four losses to Webb this season, face Chattanooga Christian on Monday in a Division II-A quarterfinal. Last week: No. 10.

10. Ensworth (20-10) – The Tigers advanced to their 12th Division II-AA state tournament in 13 years after beating McCallie 56-42 on Saturday. Last week: Not ranked.
