The Ezell-Harding Eagles took a two-game sweep over FRA on Monday and Tuesday, cruising to 6-3 and 9-0 wins over the Panthers. 

In Game 1, Daniel Dryden picked up the win after surrendering just two runs and six hits over five innings. Austin Roller pitched two innings in relief, allowing three hits and one run. 

Dryden and Bryce Eakes each had multiple hits, while Derek Griffin and Isaac Whittaller had a hit each. Griffin, Dryden, Eakes and Taylor Stollz all had an RBI for Ezell-Harding. 

Weston Hall took the loss for FRA, giving up three runs on five hits over six innings. Walker Palmerton led the way at the plate for the Panthers going 3-for-4, while Brooks Price, and Jack Kendrick each tallied two hits and Wakefield Thurmond and Jake Templin each added one. 

In Game 2, Drew Phillips was dominant on the mound, throwing a complete game and holding FRA to just three hits and no runs while striking out six. 

Gabe Guzman and Phillips each had two RBIs, while Stollz, Roller and Joe King contributed an RBI each. Stollz and Phillips led the Eagles with two hits apiece. 

 

 

Price Jones took the loss for FRA, lasting just 0.2 innings after surrendering six runs on five hits with four walks. Aidan Call stopped the bleeding, going four innings and allowing one run and two hits with four strikeouts. 

Price, Templin and Hall had the only hits for FRA.
