Soddy-Daisy Lacrosse Win 18-7 Over Clarksville

The Soddy Daisy boys lacrosse team (6-3) extended their winning streak to 6 games with a divisional win over visiting Clarksville (2-6) by a score of 18 to 7. The red-hot Trojans jumped out to a 15-1 lead in the first half and cruised the rest of the way.

Senior Blake Morrow led all scorers with 7 goals, all in the first half. Fellow attackman John Teffeteller scored 3 goals in the first half. The 18 goals were scored by 9 players, including Paul Schofield (2), Ben Nelson, Noah Flinn, Kennedy Moore, Sam Schofield, Hunter Goode, and Aaron Hyde. Kennedy Moore led the team with 9 ground balls.

Reigning defensive player of the year Ben Jenkins had 8 ground balls and a takeaway. The No. 2 ranked Soddy Daisy team is now 4-0 in division games. Their next game is next Tuesday against Boyd Buchanan.
