Chattanooga Christian baseball advanced in the state playoffs with wins over King's Academy of Seymour, Tn., on Thursday.
Two CCS pitchers combined for a shutout in a 15-0 victory. Owen Cook and Kaleb Baker limited King's Academy to a single hit.
The Chargers scored five runs in the top of the second and added 10 more in the third.
Will Bolyard, Taylor Anand and Cole Headrick had two hits each. Anand and Amos Davenport knocked in three runs each, and Evan Walker had two RBIs.
CCS won the opener, 10-0, in a six-inning game.
John Rhodes had two hits and knocked in five runs. Davenport also had a pair of hits.
Headrick and Davenport were on the mound for CCS, giving up just two hits.
The contests, played at CCS, were the Regional Quarterfinal for DII A.
CCS will host Webb on Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the Regional Semifinals.
