The Cloudland softball team continued their season on Monday afternoon by being nearly flawless.
The Lady ‘Landers captured a 19-0 victory over Hampton in the play-in game of the District 1-A softball tournament at Sullivan North as Kenzie Birchfield and Karah Fields combined for a perfect game in the circle.
With the win, Cloudland advanced to the double-elimination tournament where they will take on North Greene at 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday.
The Lady Bulldogs saw their season come to a close with the loss.
The Lady ‘Landers took control early and never looked back.
Jasmine Birchfield was 3-for-4, while Leah Birchfield, Krisi Bare, Fields and K. Birchfield had two hits each.
Taylor Hicks and Gracie Cook had two RBIs.
