COSBY—There will be new leadership on The Hill for the Cosby High School boys’ basketball team, but it will come in the form of a familiar face.
Cocke County High School and Milligan College alum Kurt Brooks has been named the next head coach of the Cosby Eagles basketball program. The change in leadership comes on the heels of a parting of ways by the school and previous head coach Brad Flatford, who had served as the team’s head man for 16 of the last 19 years over the course of three separate coaching stints from 2000-2019.
