Ravenwood senior Luke Shouse has committed to Ole Miss.

Shouse, a 6-foot-6, 248-pound tight end and defensive end for the Raptors, is expected to play on the offensive line for the Rebels.

Shouse announced his commitment on Twitter on Sunday. It came two days after the Rebels made him an offer. Ole Miss finished 5-7 in 2018.

Shouse is a three-star prospect and No. 54 prospect in Tennessee, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Shouse had also received recent offers from Army, Ball State, Kansas, Louisville, Marshall, Navy, Toledo and Virginia Tech since May.

Ravenwood reached the Class 6A state semifinals in 2018 before falling to Whitehaven.

Shouse had 53 tackles with five for loss, three sacks and an interception as a junior. He is the second Raptor to commit for the Class of 2020, joining Duke commitment Graham Barton.

Commitments are nonbinding for the athlete and the school. He cannot sign until the early signing period, which runs Dec. 18-20. The regular signing period begins Feb. 5, 2020.
