St. Benedict's EC Taylor has been selected to play for the East team in the Premier Girls Fastpitch softball game.
The Florida signee played outfielder for the Eagles and hit .524 with four home runs, four triples and 26 stolen bases during the regular season.
She led the St. Benedict to its 24th consecutive state tournament appearance. The Eagles fell to GPS in the DII-AA state semifinals,
The game, which will be televised on ESPN on July 27 according to the Premier Girls Twitter account, features five members of the U.S. junior national team, including Gatorade national player of the year Kelley Lynch.
