The Baylor School Girls Varsity Swimming & Diving team was named by the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) as 2018-2019 National Independent School Dual Meet Champions.  The NISCA awards program is based on submitted team results of high school athletes (grades 9-12) that are translated into power points.  A total of 358 high school teams from across the nation participated in the national dual meet ranking system this year.  The Baylor School also claimed the combined (boys & girls) Independent school title racking up a total of 11,501 points.

For the fifth time, and for the second consecutive year, the Baylor School Varsity girls took the title in the Independent School Class 11 scoring at a total of 5,971 points.  This is an almost a 200 point jump from last year’s score of 5,807.  The Pinecrest School (Ft.
Lauderdale, FL) finished second with 5,883 points, and Holton-Arms (Bethesda, MD) was third.

The Baylor School Varsity Boys took third place Independent School Class 9 Championship, scoring a total of 5,530 points.  They finished just behind the University School (Hunting Valley, OH) and Berkely Prep School in Tamp, FL.  The boys have won the title four times in their history.
