Arkansas running back Chase Hayden, a former St. George's standout, has entered the transfer portal.

Hayden announced his decision on Twitter. He said he would be entering the portal as a graduate transfer, giving him two years of eligibility.

Hayden is the son of former Tennessee running back Aaron Hayden. His brother Dallan Hayden is a standout running back at Christian Brothers. He has received an offer from Tennessee for the Class of 2022.

Chase Hayden had 105 carries for 500 yards with four rushing touchdowns his first two years at Arkansas. He played in four games and rushed 12 times for 39 yards before being redshirted this season.

Arkansas went 2-10 this season, firing Chad Morris after the season. Former Georgia offensive line coach Sam Pittman has replaced him.

Hayden rushed for more than 7,000 yards and scored 92 touchdowns for the Gryphons. He was named the Division II-A Mr. Football Back of the Year in his junior year and was also the DII-A Mr. Basketball that school year.
