With the addition of boys’ lacrosse this spring, Notre Dame had a buzz of excitement around

campus, and not just from the players.

The Fighting Irish had an excellent start to the season, winning their first game against Karns High School.

Currently 1-0, Notre Dame is led by four seniors: Alex Parvin, Dillon Farmer, Brendan Greene, and Hugh Robinson.

Parvin, Farmer, and Greene were named the team’s captains, and have proven to be excellent leaders and mentors for the younger players.

Greene is leading what head coach Patrick Wagner says is easily the best defense he has ever seen from a first-year program. The senior has signed to play college lacrosse for Benedictine College next year.

Farmer, who played the season opener with an injured wrist, scored the program’s first goal, which was unassisted. Robinson scored a hat trick (three goals) in his first-ever lacrosse game, having only practiced for one week. Parvin, also an extremely talented player, set the pace at midfield.

All of these seniors are eager to get back on the field to finish their season, and are doing their best to stay motivated, as well as keep the younger players motivated during the downtime.
