Baylor's Hooks To Play At Covenant College

  • Saturday, April 11, 2020

Baylor senior goalkeeper Charlie Hooks has committed to play soccer at NCAA Division III Covenant College next year. Hooks will join brother Henry Hooks and former teammate Keegan Weekley who also play for the Scots. Hooks had narrowed his choices down to Covenant, Belmont, and Lees-McRae.

"Being a senior soccer player at this time has been very frustrating for these young men," Baylor head coach Curtis Blair said. "But I am really excited for him. He has the stature and the build for a college goalkeeper and has worked hard on his game these past two years to give himself an opportunity to play at the next level.

I am excited that he will get to play locally and play for a great coach in Coach (Scott) Bosgraff."
