Tennessee commitment Kaiya Wynn, the state's top-ranked high school girls basketball player for the Class of 2021, is leaving Ensworth and moving with her family to Houston, Texas, Ensworth coach Mary Taylor Cowles told The Tennessean.

Wynn is a two-time Division II-AA Miss Basketball finalist, finishing behind Ensworth teammate Dontavia Waggoner both seasons.

Cowles said the family is moving after her mother got a new job in Texas. She doesn't know what high school Wynn plans to attend in the fall.

Wynn is the No. 23 overall college prospect for 2021 according to ESPN and No. 9 overall guard.

Wynn, a 6-foot guard, has been part of back-to-back DI-AA state championships at Ensworth. She averaged 15.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.3 steals this past season. She was a Tennessean All-Midstate first team member this past season and a nominee for girls basketball player of the year.

Wynn has also been a standout track and field athlete. She has won back-to-back DII-A pentathlon state championships.

Ensworth finished 29-0 this past season and finished ranked 10th nationally by MaxPreps.
