The King's Academy girls basketball guard Jennifer Sullivan announces transfer to Bearden

Jennifer Sullivan, a standout guard for The King's Academy girls basketball team, is transferring to Bearden. 

She made the announcement public Monday on Twitter. 

"After a lot of thoughts and prayers, I have decided to transfer to Bearden High School to finish out my high school career," Sullivan wrote. "This decision was not easy for me."

Sullivan will have two years of eligibility remaining. 

As a sophomore last season, she was an all-state selection and a key piece of The King's Academy's run to the Division II-A state championship game. Sullivan is already the program's all-time leading scorer.

Jennifer Sullivan, a guard at The King's Academy, will transfer to Bearden High School.

The Lady Lions finished with a 26-7 record as Sullivan averaged 17.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.

Bearden went 29-4 this past season before losing to Science Hill in the Class AAA sectional.
