Nashville Tennessean

The best night in high school sports will go virtual Thursday due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The fifth annual Tennessean Sports Awards presented by Farm Bureau Health Plans will be held starting at 6 p.m. online at sportsawards.tennessean.com.

All of the winners will be announced during the show by professional athletes including Patrick Mahomes, Michael Phelps, Stephen Curry and New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick.

Athletes of the year in each TSSAA fall and winter sport along with hockey and swimming will be named. No spring sport awards will be given because of the seasons being shortened.
