ECS' Kameron Jones (3) has committed to Marquette.

Evangelical Christian School guard Kameron Jones has committed to Marquette, he announced on Twitter on Tuesday.

"They made me feel wanted and needed from the jump," Jones said. "And I feel like I built a great relationship with the coaching staff and that it was where I needed to be."

Jones said Marquette has been keeping in contact since he attended a camp there last year and made their offer to him on May 24. It was his second Power Five conference offer. Florida also made an offer in May.

He said that the camp was the only time he's been to the campus but that he's been spending time watching Big East basketball.

Jones led ECS to the Division II-A state semifinals, where it lost to region foe FACS.

The 6-foot-3 senior guard is unranked in the 247Sports Composite, but his recruiting has been picking up in recent months. He also has offers from Troy, Tennessee Tech and Evansville, among others.

"Talking with my family, the plan was when you see an opportunity and it's not 100% for certain that you'll get it again, you might as well take advantage," Jones said.
