Signal Mountain Cross Country Teams Run To Fifth Place Finishes In Alabama Meet

The Signal Mountain cross country team recently competed at the Oak Mountain Invitational in Birmingham.  Running in a field of 30 teams, both the Eagles’ boys and girls teams finished fifth overall.

 

Joshua Pote and Sophia Gibby each finished in 13th place in their respective varsity races. Pote turned in a time of 17:00.09, while Gibby raced to a 20:40.10 finish.

 

Other team members competing were Kaid Boehm, Colton Underwood, Maxwell Sewell, Noah Shriner, Jack Gibby, Adam martin and Carter Collins on the boys squad and Hannah Laramore, Kelsey Thompson, Charlotte Harrison, Gracen Glover, Brinson Sheets, Stephanie Holmes and  Genevieve Fisher for the Lady Eagles.
