With one win and one loss last Thursday, the Livingston Academy golf team played its final regular season match, beating Warren County and falling to White County in a match played at the LA home course, Hidden Valley.
“So far, we’ve had a good season and are looking forward to the district tournament which starts Monday (September 21) at the Golden Eagle course in Cookeville,” Livingston coach Buddy Sells pointed out. “Both teams, girls and boys, have been competitive, and we expect to be strong in the district and regional tournaments.”
In last week’s match, White County posted a score of 316 that averaged out to 79 strokes per player. Livingston came in with a 332 and an average of 83 per player. Warren County posted a 332 score.
Individually , Hayden Ledbetter tied for medalist with a fine 75, and Bryson Fletcher was close behind with a 76. Mason Walters came home with an 88, and Bryson Carwile had a 93.
Neither White County nor Warren County had a girls team, therefore the Lady Wildcats didn’t have a chance to play.
