Here are the top 10 high school football games happening in the Jackson area during Week 10:

Game of the Week

Hardin County (7-1) at Milan (7-1)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

Milan has won seven straight and is now ranked No. 2 in the Class 3A poll, while Hardin County is coming off its first loss and fell out of the No. 2 spot in the 4A poll. The question is where does Milan junior Anthony Brown star at in this game. Brown has thrown for 242 yards, rushed for 751 yards and had 113 yards receiving. Hardin County will look to get its passing game going that sputtered at times against Lexington, but quarterback Rivers Hunt has thrown for 1,767 yards and 21 touchdowns.

Michael Odom's pick: Milan 28, Hardin County 21

Brandon Shields' pick: Milan 35, Hardin County 31

Greenfield (7-0, 4-0 7-1A) at Lake County (5-1, 5-0)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

The Region 7-1A championship is up for grabs as Greenfield, one of two undefeated teams in West Tennessee, takes on the Lake County, the defending Class 1A state champion. Lake County hasn't lost a region game since Aug. 31, 2018. Greenfield's Hayden Smith scored five touchdowns in a Week 9 win over Gleason while rushing for 173 yards.

Odom's pick: Greenfield 27, Lake County 24

Riverside's Malek Cannon has rushed for over 200 yards in each of the last two games, and 652 yards in the last four games. But this will be the toughest that he has tried to rush against. Adamsville has won three straight games behind 817 yards passing and 10 touchdowns by Lathan Morris.

Odom's pick: Riverside 35, Adamsville 31

Shields' pick: Riverside 35, Adamsville 21

Jackson Christian (7-1, 5-1 DII-A) at TCA (5-3, 4-2)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

Jackson Christian collected its first defeat, a 39-28 loss to Nashville Christian. The Eagles must win this one to finish in the top two of Division II-A West Region. A win by TCA could force a four-way tie for second place entering the final week of the season. Even in last week's loss, Jackson Christian quarterback Aaron Smith threw for 397 yards and has passed for 1,694 yards this season.

Odom's pick: Jackson Christian 31, TCA 17

Shields' pick: Jackson Christian 42, TCA 14

Bruceton (3-3, 2-2 6-1A) at Collinwood (4-3, 3-1)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

Bruceton is trying to play its way into the playoffs in the final two weeks. The Tigers begin with a matchup against one of the two teams tied for second place in Region 6-1A behind Huntingdon. Bruceton has won three of its last four games with the lone loss coming by five against Wayne County.

Odom's pick: Collinwood 24, Bruceton 21

South Gibson (6-2) at Franklin Road Academy (1-4)

South Gibson might be the hottest team in West Tennessee with five straight wins, including a 22-21 win last week over state-ranked Covington. Franklin Road Academy will have been off for 20 days when this one kicks off on Friday, and the Panthers lost four straight before the break. South Gibson's Landon Lambert is coming off his best passing game with 161 yards against Covington with two touchdowns.

Odom's pick: South Gibson 35, FRA 24

Shields' pick: South Gibson 35, FRA 28

Waverly (5-1) at Westview (5-3)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

Waverly has won four straight games on the field, but the Tigers missed two weeks of games in that middle of that stretch. Westview's Ty Simpson will get a chance to add to his 1,476 passing yards and 17 touchdowns.

Odom's pick: Westview 42, Waverly 28

Shields' pick: Westview 42, Waverly 21

South Fulton (3-5, 1-3 7-1A) at West Carroll (4-3, 2-2)

When: 7 p.m., Thursday

West Carroll needs a win here to secure a spot in the Class 1A playoffs. The War Eagles lost late to Region 7-1A leader Lake County in Week 9. With a win here and next week, West Carroll could secure a home game in the second round of the playoffs.

Odom's pick: West Carroll 32, South Fulton 24

Shields' pick: West Carroll 28, South Fulton 7

Lexington (7-1) at McNairy Central (4-5)
